Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) is offering scholarships for the US and international students. IUPUI scholarships are available for pursuing an undergraduate degree program.
Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) is a public, urban research institution that combines the strengths of Indiana University (IU) and Purdue University.
If applicants do not meet minimum English requirements but have met all other requirements, they can issue an Academically Eligible Letter (conditional acceptance) while they are studying English at the IUPUI PIE or an ELS center in the U.S. or Canada.
Course Level: Scholarships are available for pursuing an undergraduate degree program.
Study Subject: Scholarships are awarded to study the subjects offered by the university.
Outstanding Scholar Award: $15,000 per year for up to four years.
Dean’s Recognition Scholarship: $11,000 per year for up to four years.
Valedictorian and Salutatorian Scholarships: $10,000 per year for up to four years.
International Ambassador Award: $7,000 per year for up to four years.
ELS Ambassador Award: $5,000 per year
Competitive Scholarships
Chancellor’s Scholarship:
- $19,000 per year for up to four years
- A $2,500 stipend for a study abroad experience
- A $2,500 stipend to help pay for residence on campus their freshman year
- Direct Admission into the Honors College
Plater International Scholars Program:
- $27,000 per year for up to four years
- A $2,500 stipend for a study abroad experience
- A $2,500 stipend to help pay for residence in International House their freshman year
- Direct Admission into the Honors College

Eligibility:
Merit Scholarships
Outstanding Scholar Award:
- Apply for Fall 2016 or a later term
- Have a minimum high school/secondary school cumulative GPA of 3.75 on a 4.0 scale
- Have one of the following minimum test scores:
SAT (Native English Speakers): 1250 on the Math and Critical Reading sections
SAT (Non-Native English Speakers): 650 on Math section or 1250 on the Math and Critical Reading sections
ACT: composite score of 28
Dean’s Recognition Scholarship:
- Have a minimum high school/secondary school cumulative GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale
- Have one of the following minimum test scores:
SAT (Native English Speakers): 1200 on the Math and Critical Reading sections
SAT (Non-Native English Speakers): 600 on Math section or 1200 on the Math and Critical Reading sections
ACT: composite score of 26
Valedictorian and Salutatorian Scholarships:
- Apply for admission by March 1
- Are ranked first or second in your high school/secondary school class (your class must have 25 or more students)
International Ambassador Award:
- Have a minimum high school/secondary school cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
- Submit one of the following minimum scores:TOEFL iBT score of 80, or IELTS score of 6.5, or O-Level and equivalents (SPM, WAEC, etc.) A-B, PIE Level 7, or SAT (Critical Reading) score of 500, or ACT (English) score of 22, or proof you are a native English speaker
ELS Ambassador Award:
- Have a minimum high school/secondary school cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
- Successfully complete Level 112 at ELS Language Centers in the USA or Canada.

- Apply for Fall 2016 or a later Fall term
- Complete IUPUI application and scholarship application (and submit all materials) by November 15
- Have a cumulative high school cumulative GPA of 3.75 (weighted)
- Have a minimum SAT score of 1250 for the Math and Critical Reading sections, or a minimum ACT composite score of 28
- Complete the Honors Online Application
Plater International Scholars Program:
- Apply for Fall 2016 or a later Fall term
- Complete IUPUI application and scholarship application (and submit all materials) by November 15
- Have a cumulative high school cumulative GPA of 3.75 (weighted)
- Have a minimum SAT score of 1250 for the Math and Critical Reading sections, or a minimum ACT composite score of 28

Nationality: Both for the US and international students can apply for IUPUI Scholarships.
